Berry jelly with Sago (Ayurvedic) for all doshas
2 cups berries- various berries of your choice (blackcurrant, red and white currants, gooseberries, etc.)
1 cup apple
3 tbsp sago
100 gr gur (cane sugar)
1 tsp tvak (cinnamon)
1/2 tsp ginger
Cut apples in pieces, add berries in a kettle, add sugar and spices, heat all ingredients, add some hot water and cook till apples are ready, add sago (soaked), bring to boil for 3-4 minutes.
*before cooking soak sago and leave for 12 hours
When ready, serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
