GINGER TEA (Ayurvedic) for all doshas

This drink is perfect for cold season so you can stay warm inside. 

1 L water
3 tbsp. freshly shredded ginger
3 tbsp. brown cane sugar
1/2 tsp. garam masala
3 tbsp. lemon juice or 1/2 or pealed lemon

Bring water to boil, then add ginger and spices, boil and turn off the heat, leave for 10 minutes and enjoy! 


When seasons change in this time, every spoon of soup have special value. This one is just made and have a pinch of spicy taste which warms the body and helps to stay fit and healthy.

So the recipe is quite simple:

100 gr butter (bring it to melt in the kettle
1 carrot (shredded)
4 large onions
1/3 tsp. haridra- Turmeric
1/2 tsp. birjani masala
1/2 tsp. dal masala
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ghee
Bring butter to melt, add spices and carrot, cook until carrots get ready, then ass onions and cook for about 5 minutes, then add hot water and leave until ready.
When ready, pour in blender to get it creamy and serve.



This is quite quick and easy to make, just need few ingredients and some patience, but it is worth it for sure.

 100 gr melted butter
150 gr brown sugar
200 gr flour
3 tsp baking powder
200 gr milk
2 glasses full of cut rhubarb
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cinnamon

100 gr flour
100 gr sugar
50 gr butter

Mix butter with sugar. In another bowl mix flour with baking powder and add spices. Add butter with sugar and milk. Pour this dough on baking pan, add rhubarb pieces and sprinkle with dough crumbs which are made by mixing butter, flour and sugar together.
Bake for about 30-40 min in 180*



This recipe can be used in various ways, as this treat can be enjoyed as an ice cream or just a cream for any kind of use. 

300 ml double cream (min 25%)
100 gr rice flour- (mixed with cold water)
300 gr cane sugar 
1 tsp tvak (cinnamon)
1 tsp ela (cardamom)

In a small kettle bring double cream and sugar to boil, then add rice flour (mixed with cold water). Cook until it gets creamy, then if needed you can add some blueberries for the color  (this is the funny part as the berries make cream color green). 


This was a gift for my dear day on father's day. I guess it was a good choice :)

So to make this delicious treat you should follow these instructions below:

This cake contains 3 layers (base, cream and topping). 

Base layer:
300 gr flour
100 gr cane sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
100 gr butter
250 gr sour cream
! Mix flour with sugar, spices, cream and melted butter, mix well and cook for about 25 min. While this part is cooling, start making the cream. 


300 gr double cream (25%)
300 gr cane sugar
150 gr water
1 tsp tvak (cinnamon)
1 tsp ela (cardamom)
+ 1 tsp ginger powder can also be added
In kettle add water with sugar, and add double cream. Cook for some while, till it gets harder, then add spices. When ready leave to cool down. Pour this cream over the base layer, so it could soak a little. 

Pour on fresh berries like raspberries and blueberries. 
Sprinkle with date syrup and some grated dark chocolate. Enjoy! :)


Perfect breakfast or dessert for this season. 

200 ml Greek or any other gelatin-free yogurt
handful of various berries (I took raspberries and blueberries). 
Pinch of cardamom is preferable


SUNDAY'S PANCAKES (Ayurvedic) for all doshas

Mmm, such a lovely Sunday morning.. and what could be more delicious than homemade pancakes with berries from the countryside forest and garden :)

200 gr wheat flour
250 ml kefir
4 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
2 apples shredded
4 tbsp. raisins
1/2 tsp. haridra
1/2 tsp. tvak- cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger powder
+ here 1/2 tsp. garam masala or nutmeg can be added

Mix all ingredients and leave for about 10 min, then cook on preheated pan in ghee, coconut oil or this time I tried in rape-oil, therefore pancaked are a bit dark. 
Cook each side till ready.
