This was a gift for my dear day on father's day. I guess it was a good choice :)
So to make this delicious treat you should follow these instructions below:
This cake contains 3 layers (base, cream and topping).
300 gr flour
100 gr cane sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
100 gr butter
250 gr sour cream
! Mix flour with sugar, spices, cream and melted butter, mix well and cook for about 25 min. While this part is cooling, start making the cream.
300 gr double cream (25%)
300 gr cane sugar
150 gr water
1 tsp tvak (cinnamon)
1 tsp ela (cardamom)
+ 1 tsp ginger powder can also be added
In kettle add water with sugar, and add double cream. Cook for some while, till it gets harder, then add spices. When ready leave to cool down. Pour this cream over the base layer, so it could soak a little.
Pour on fresh berries like raspberries and blueberries.
Sprinkle with date syrup and some grated dark chocolate. Enjoy! :)
